View Collection7 DAYS THROUGH GENESIS 1
What You Will Study
Each day focuses on one act of creation — what God did, what the Hebrew says, and what He is revealing about how He deals with His children. Study the concordance. Sit in the Selah. Let God teach.
Day 1Light — Illumination & Clarity
H-216 · Or — to make clear
Before light: dark, empty, void, no identity, no direction. The condition of the earth mirrors the human heart before salvation. God speaks light and the void cannot remain.
Day 2Firmament — Structure Before Filling
H-7549 · Raqia — beaten expanse
God hammers space into chaos. The only day He doesn't say "good" — because structure alone isn't good. Structure that leads to fruit is good. He separates BEFORE He fills.
Day 3Land & Seed — Promise Revealed
H-2233 · Zera — every seed carries its design
Dry land appears only after waters are gathered. Your promise is hidden under what God has to confine first. The only day God says "it was good" twice — double favor.
Day 4Sun, Moon, Stars — Discern the Season
H-4150 · Moed — appointed times
God sets time before He sets life in motion. Many are anointed but out of season. These lights don't control you — they measure you. Discern your season or be devoured by it.
Day 5Birds & Fish — First Blessing
H-1288 · Blessed to multiply
The first blessing in all of scripture. Stagnation is not blessable — movement is. Birds fly in the open firmament, not the lower waters. Elevation requires operating in your appointed space.
Day 6Animals & Man — Five-Fold Authority
H-6754 · Tselem — representative figure
Made in His image. Five commands: fruitful, multiply, replenish, subdue, dominion. You were not made to look like God and act like the devil. You fight FROM dominion — not for it.
Day 7Rest — Celebrating Completion
H-7673 · Shabath — cease and celebrate
God wasn't tired. He modeled completion. The first holy thing in scripture is not a place — it is a day. Rest is warfare. Striving is doubt with sweat on it.
Deeper StudyDarkness, Evening & Morning, Light Connections
H-2822 · Choshek — obscurity
Three deeper sections go beyond the seven days: what darkness really means in Hebrew, why God counts days from evening to morning, and how light connects God, His word, and His children.
What You Will Study: Part 2
Part 2 continues into Genesis 2 with breath, garden, river, prohibition, and covenant union.

A Special Dedication
Honoring Auntie Vonita Geddins
Her notebooks. Her teaching. The foundation behind Genesis Foundations.
The Notebooks That Started It
Where the foundation began
Genesis Foundations is rooted in the notebooks of my aunt, Vonita Geddins. For eight years, she studied Genesis structurally, filling notebook after notebook as she traced Hebrew words back to the beginning.
Her study returned to what God established first: plain meaning, spiritual meaning, no opinions, and no overreaches.
She passed those notebooks to me to be continued and shared. Her work is the foundation behind this workbook series, and this space honors her teaching and the notebooks she entrusted to me.
— Vonita Geddins“To open this book you must have some knowledge from the beginning.”

An excerpt from her reflection on Genesis and Revelation
“First we must understand that the word Revelation means-to reveal and to make known and to show plainly, open it up to view. To open this book you must have some knowledge from the beginning. That's why He said I am Alpha and Omega the beginning and ending the first and the last.”
— Vonita Geddins
